Hey I’m Jesse and Garage Door Medics was born out of a personal frustration with my own garage door. I went down the rabbit hole and 20 years later I started this website.

This is a picture of what my garage door looked like when I got started. Obviously not working. I tried to fix it myself and then ended up hiring a guy. During the process I decided to train as a garage door installer/tech and did that for several years.

Our Mission​

As I got going I started to meet other people in the industry and manufacturers that provide doors and openers. The team on this website is the result, we are a group of techs, installers, service people and we just love garage doors. All of the information, experience and tips we are going to put on the site. We also love questions and feedback so please let us know.
